Interior Designer Kiana Wenzell has more than 19 years of experience researching, planning, and executing design projects in metropolitan Detroit. In her current role, Kiana is Co-Executive Director of Design Core Detroit, a non-profit economic development organization housed within the College for Creative Studies. My career embarks on my first love, fashion illustration. Fashion is my inspiration and expressing that with drawing and painting will always be significant in my career endeavors. Fashion Illustration pushed me to bring my illustrations to life, which lead me to pick up in Fiber and Textile Design. Fashion/Textile Designer Shawna McGee is a successful women’s wear designer inspired by her seamstress mother, McGee studied fashion design at Cass Technical High School in her hometown of Detroit Michigan. Upon earning a full scholarship to the Parson School of Design. As an Undergrad, Shawna studied abroad in Paris where she indulged in French couture and culture. She worked with Donna Karan and Louis Dell’Olio for Anne Klein, Ralph Lauren, and others.
